Design/Development/Deployment
Process
You explain
to us the nature of your business and what you hope to achieve
with a presence on the Wide World Web.
- Type/size
of web host needed.
- Domain
name requirements and registration.
- Anticipated
customer base - quantity and key characteristics.
- Overall
site design and initial content.
- Plans
for expansion and site development. (Future plans should
be kept simple to take advantage of lessons learned from
the response to the initial site.)
We propose to you a detailed
analysis with programming requirements and cost estimates
of the initial design. A server to host the web site will be
needed, and we can either advise on a reliable and fast response
site, or obtain one for you. In most cases, a domain name will
also be desireable and can be arranged through Internic.
After
the price and concept are agreed by both parties, and the relevant
content is received from the client, a prototype page is developed
to convey the site's overall look-and-feel. Modifications
are made as required and the remainder of the site is developed
and posted.
Site maintenance,
including verification of outside links, minor updates, and
resubmission to search engines and directories may be arranged
as required.
